"Ben's commitment to the people and to upgrading transportation, representation, and communication makes him the best candidate for the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. When he wins in November, Ben will become a vital LGBTQ voice.
We need innovative, visionary, and compassionate leaders, especially in local government where millions of our tax dollars are spent each year. Ben Ku is a great example of a leader who is already working to make it easier for citizens to be informed and engaged. I hereby endorse my friend Ben Ku to be the next Gwinnett County Commissioner for District 2. Vote Ku For You!
Good luck to Ben Ku, my friend who lives in Gwinnett District 2. Please vote for Ben Ku as commissioner.
Ben has the real world skills we need in our county government, he comes from our diverse community, and he knows what our needs are because he is our neighbor in the heart of the district.
I've known Ben Ku and his talented family for decades. Ben is an entrepreneur, innovator, and community leader. His expertise, passion, and creativity will bring vision and dynamism to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. Please join me in supporting Ben Ku.
My endorsement of Ben Ku is based on his positions on the issues, two of which are Transit and Affordable Housing. Both of these are region wide issues that have been overlooked in Gwinnett county in the past, and impact the citizens across the Metro Area.
Ben has spent countless hours speaking with the people of Gwinnett County and hearing their concerns. From transit, to communication, to affordable housing, Ben will be an excellent advocate for the people of District 2 on the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. When he says "Ku For You", he really means it.
Georgia Stonewall is proud to announce additional endorsements for these fair-minded candidates.
I reconnected with Ben after telling my 9 year old daughter about Ben being my favorite person when I was 9! Gwinnett will be fortunate to have someone so caring and visionary representing them.
Having had the good fortune of growing up with Ben, the qualities that come to mind are kind, smart, outgoing, creative, compassionate and inclusive of all. Any community would be incredibly lucky to have Ben at the helm... I look forward to seeing all that manifests from his comprehensive ideas and forward thinking. The world needs more Ben Ku’s!
I had an opportunity to meet Ben Ku at a transportation meeting as well as another political function. I believe that Ben Ku has the heart of my district. He sees the importance of improving the public transportation in Gwinnett County which will greatly improve District 2. I believe that Ben Ku will listen to the people of District 2 and will represent the people and not a hidden political agenda.
Our choice is Ben Ku, 36, of near Lucky Shoals Park, a native [Georgian] and a Georgia Tech graduate.
I am proud to endorse and support Ben Ku for Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners-District 2. I encourage everyone who lives in Norcross, Lilburn, Peachtree Corners, and Berkley Lake to vote for this rising new leader. Ben brings a thoughtful, forward-thinking approach to the problems Gwinnett County faces. Combined with his desire to serve and represent all of the diverse communities in his district, he is the kind of county commissioner we need in Gwinnett.
Ben is a staunch progressive who believes in bringing rapid transit to Gwinnett and building affordable housing. He will implement transparency and simplicity at the ballot, through accessibility intiatives....Ben’s district includes the cities of Berkley Lake, Peachtree Corners, Norcross, and Lilburn. If you live in these cities, Ku is for you!
Ben has been one of my most active constituents and I am so happy he has stepped up to help me improve Gwinnett. Not only has he been a leader in his neighborhood, but he has shown dedication to the whole county and shares the distinction of alumni of the Gwinnett 101 program like myself, Duluth City Councilman Kirkland Carden, and Mayor of Norcross Craig Newton. He will bring a much needed voice to the local table.
These candidates are the present and future leaders of the progressive movement and the Democratic Party. They’re not just talking about what the party should be, or what our government should do — they’ve changed their lives in order to get sh-- done.
I have come to know Ben through the Gwinnett 101 Citizens Academy which is a 12 week program that aims to educate and empower residents to be active in civics and government affairs in Gwinnett County. With a competitive application process and only 30 participants being selected during the fall of 2016 cohort, Ben was that guy I could always call on for any supporting details throughout the duration of the course. He is approachable, always on time, and dependable. Ben is committed to serving our community not only as a business owner but by engaging others and encouraging them to be active citizens. He is an asset to the community, as well as a motivated and resourceful leader in Gwinnett County.
Vote for Ben
